Those of you who frequent Wheeler Nature Park will soon see some significant work being done, as our Parks Foreman, Andrew Noonan, embarks on some significant invasive removal at this park. With the Manangement Plan as his guide, he has laid out a course of action that will attempt to bridge the gap of a long overdue removal effort. Several strategies will be implimented to tackle to larger components of this removal and once the “heavy lifting” is done, we will welcome our community of Weed Warriors to support some hand pulling work days. We will keep you updated as the project progresses and look forward to the transforming work of this Open Space project.
